Conclusion: the best of the movies so far alright, though that's not necessarily saying much. Kristen Stewart does a solid job (with help of the make-up department - she spends much of the movie looking quite literally starving), Robert Pattinson is more hit-and-miss, good at times and not so much at others. Ashley Greene is seriously annoying, but Lautner is a lot better than I'd been expecting based on the comments about him (though again, that's not necessarily saying much). He has the most cringe-worthy scene of the movie to his name (the werewolves' conclave), but in fairness that's more the script-writers' fault than his.

Decent movie all in all, I wasn't disappointed. No doubt I could've spent my time and money on a better movie, but oh well.
