Always been pretty disappointed with 3-D effects Sports_Gambler Send a noteboard - 28/12/2011 04:30:56 AM
Especially on a standard screen. It doesn't bother me, but it does seem to darken the picture slightly, as noted, and doesn't seem to add much. Just saw 'Tintin in 3D' and was very disappointed with the effects (even though the movie was fun overall).

IMAX 3-D is perhaps a different case, the 3D there seems to be a bit better. I thought 'Avatar' worked well in 3D, but come to think of it, 'Avatar' is the only 3D film that I seen that really worked, and that was on the IMAX.
