Smallville - I know I should just quit watching, yet I don't. But here's what bothers me most.

Clark's been making a big deal about cutting all ties and acting like he's not human. And that's all well and good except for the elephant in the room for anyone who has actually watched the whole series.
Among the characters they've put on a bus is Clark's mom Martha, who has been off playing Senator and not being a part of Clark's life. I hate when characters do things that other characters would definitely play a role in, but it doesn't happen for no other reason than that the actor isn't on the show any more.
Again, Smallville has failed so much that this shouldn't bother me, but it does.
