As in, why would those villains work together? Because the good guys at least are good guys, so they have some incentive to work together, being generally decent people and all. But the bad guys would be even less inclined to work together, make an even more incompetent team, and have even more dreadful teamwork.

Yeah! If only there was some sort of historical example where people, or groups, with different philosophies ended up working together towards a (supposedly) common goal, and another group of usually separate and incompatible allies joined forces to stop them...
