Blu Ray is here to stay a while. Alas in a way, because its rather disappointing compared to full uncompressed HD, but even for the really good consummer grade TVs and screens, it's good enough (in a professional screening room, the difference between BR and the original source is rather unmistakable). There's still room for much technical improvement in the home market for it to catch up to the quality of the HD sources, but there's no way the MPAA and co. would even support the introduction of something better much better than BR on the consummer market in a foreseeable future.
I don't really care if it stays or not, as long as it doesn't push DVDs into oblivion. I suppose at least computers will keep being able to play DVDs for a good long while...
It really looks like no one watches Mad Men based on the absence of discussion.

I intend to, at some point. Though as Stephen notes, the DVDs are expensive. *NM*

People buy DVDs? I thought everything was streaming or Blu-Ray now.

I'm still hoping Blu-Ray will go the way of the betacam.

Not much to say. Everyone's an asshole, so you watch it without caring or getting involved.

Yes, but that role still fits the common thread of casting and how it relates to Mad Men

I think you're selectively remembering roles for many of the cast members.

I've never seen more than about 3 minutes of an episode. The idea is not interesting to me. *NM*
