Tyrion is one of my favourite characters in the books and he outdid himself in the TV series. Every time I see Tyrion I get a smile on my face because you know he's either going to humiliate Cersei or Joffrey. It's a win-win situation.
I must say I like Tywin in the series too, but in the books he's diabolical.
