I like Russel Crowe, and I've seen him in two good movies, but this is one of them, so you might not think the other one is good. Master and Commander? The only bad thing about that is that it is a tad bit long.

As for the plot in Gladiator, I still think there is a lot more to it then fighting. But it's not a film for everyone, I suppose.
