I have a lot of resentment because of how the show ended, so I was very skeptical about rewatching it; but a lot of people I work with had not seen it, and so I'm joining them for a weekly meet-up to watch it. And I had forgotten how good the beginning is.
Hmm shall we talk about why you didn't like the ending? I loved it and expected something like that from the beginning. Remember that anti-technology has a looong tradition in sci-fi. In fact the original sci-fi stuff (twenty thousand leagues under the sea for example) was extremely anti-technology.
I may need to stop rewatching Babylon 5...
