But then, I had no interest in seeing even the first one, so I don't know much about it aside from it supposedly existing solely for the purpose of showing off the 3d and special effects. And I can't see those being able to carry so many sequels, or maybe even one sequel, now that nearly everyone has seen the original Avatar and 3D movies (albeit poorly done 3D) have inundated the market.
