So, for the first time in several years, I watched a bunch of the Matrix Trilogy (it was on AMC over the weekend).

For as much as the Matrix was awesome, that's how awful the 2 sequels were. Just awful.

What happened? How could such a great idea and initial movie fall apart so quickly.
