But maybe that's just me. To me it seemed less about the horror aspects of it, and more about human drama and relationships. Zombies appear of course, but it's much more about the way such apocalyptic conditions affect the humans than anything else.

But of the three, I think Justified would be closest to what you're looking for. It doesn't match Cumberbatch, but it's plenty entertaining in its own way.
