And what was with the ridiculous effect when he shot the sister? Were we supposed to think there was an invisible man in front of her who shot her with a shot gun from about a foot way at exactly the same instant that Django shot from above and to the side? Sheesh.

I overheard a couple saying the same thing when we left the movie theater. Those people do neither get Tarantino nor what movies are allowed to do. At all. What in the world made them (or you) think they watched a movie that's based in reality? Not getting Tarantino is fine, as I said, he's not for everyone. But he is no newcomer, he already comes with a label, so why bother going?
