Wood Hite: from "The Assassination of Jesse James...", I am assuming this guy was a Western dude. Western dudes are remembered by history as the ones who kicked ass when the other team brought arrows to a gun fight, which is why the population of the West is so much paler these days. Unless someone who watched that film can tell me he was one of those guys with the black ties on their sleeves and green visors who duck behind counters when the gunfights start, I'm gonna go ahead and give Woody the nod over Hawkeye.
It's been a long while since I've seen the movie, but if memory serves...his character has the drop on an asshole he wants to kill (I'm talking - he walks in fully clothed and armed while this guy is napping in his PJ's, his gunbelt draped across the back of a chair 6 feet away), and somehow manages to unload his 6 shot without hitting a thing. He has to sit on the floor, out of breath, while the other guy retrieves his gun and puts one in his head.
It's actually a pretty intense scene.
So, because I saw Hansel & Gretel today, I think I'll take a few more lashes at that dead horse
