Good show, but I can't say I found it fantastically awesome either, and the Captain, Engineer and Doctor were the only characters I actually liked. Everybody else seemed kinda thin, probably the engineer too but I like Jewel Staite.
The first time I watched it, I liked it. I didn't realize that with further watchings it would really get to me. It's just got so many funny little lines and character set ups. It's like the movies that are always on around Christmas - you might not have loved 'em on first watch, but they get a ... feeling after a while. I LOVE Firefly now, even when an episode isn't my favorite. In fact, I can't stand the booby redhead, but I always watch Our Mrs. Reynolds because of the funny sh!t with Inara. hehe.
I am watching Firefly again. This show still makes me stupidly happy. *NM*
