I love these books so I'm cautiously hopeful about this. I LOVE how HBO is doing Game of Thrones so I know it can be done well but who knows if they'll actually manage it.
I feel like it'll be different because there's a lot more "magic" in the Kingkiller Chronicles. There's very little magic in ASOIF and what there is is more...natural than magic. I feel like it's always difficult to get that looking right without looking over the top and ridiculous.
