Why are they all taking it easy and casually chatting when there are zombies piling up at the fences?

Why does that woman look like a zombie? (this one was explained)

Those were the thoughts running through my mind during the episode. All in all, it was good, but not great. Kinda slow, and kinda boring, except for the promising last minute.


Time for him to come good and for some of the others to be the crazy ones.

I think the casual attitude was to show - yes we have jumped forward in time but seriously nothing has happened in the time we skipped so much so some of them are almost able to see the world as normal and to set up the complacency that is going to make things worse.


While it's not a show I rate in "realistic vs unrealistic" terms, I do think it's likely that people would get a certain sense of normality after a while, especially when building up a new little world for themselves, like in the prison.

I don't see where Rick went wrong in this episode.
