I'm not about to get into absurd discussions of sexual roles and all that. The simple fact is that my older daughter likes princesses and fairies and butterflies and ladybugs. She does also like Toy Story, Thomas the Tank Engine and Monsters, Inc., though (but she doesn't like animal-themed movies like Lion King, Ice Age or Madagascar). Do you think she would like the Lego Movie?

Based on her enjoyment of Toy Story, I think the Lego Movie would have a good chance with her. Similar conceit, and a whole lot of fun.
