So I've been a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe pretty much since day one. Given how huge Iron Man was, I know that doesn't exactly put me in a small or unique group, but with each movie that has come out I have been consistently impressed with a single, brilliant stance that Marvel (and behind them, Disney) has taken: the decision to be gloriously unashamed of what they do.

I'm right there with you. I like what Marvel and Disney are doing together, and I kind of wish DC and Warner Brothers were as good at it. It reminds me of something I read somewhere online:
DC/Warner Bros. is all like "Wonder Woman is too confusing for a movie!" and Marvel/Disney is all like "Here's a raccoon with a machine gun!"
