One thing that really pissed me off is how many of the x-men first class members were killed offscreen. While I have no problems with character deaths, and I think it adds to the dark nature of the story having half the previous movie cast members die off screen really cheapen the feel of the last movie.

Characters that survived the ending of X-Men: First Class, 6 out of 11

Xavier
Magneto
Mystique
Beast
Wolverine (not really a cast member of X-Men First Class he was just a cameo)
Havoc (He only gets a cameo in this movie)

Characters killed off screen between X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past. 5 out of 11
Riptide
Banshee
Emma Frost
Azazel (father of Nightcrawler)
Angel Salvadore (whose wing was blown off during First Class‘ final fight).

On another note, Nicholas Hoult and Lucas Till are still hot, Hugh Jackman still too but he is overbuilt.
