And whether people like him or not, Tom Cruise knows how to do an action movie. It's just a shame it looks like a good action movie will flop at the box office due to lack of a big name franchise. Which would be a shame for cinema as a whole tbh.

Well said! It seems to do well internationally, especially in Asia but when did US studios ever care about that.

Otherwise they wouldn't release these films in overseas markets first. It helps them spin and sell if a movie is doing excellent overseas but bombs at home. They can then market it better. Such as the case with this film.
