It's been confirmed that Bran won't be in season five. They're taking a full season break from his story, and won't return to it until season six. So no heart tree magic in season five.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did just about everything from Books 4 and 5 that they intend to do in this season. In terms of tv-filmable scenes there's only so much to choose from, especially if they're cutting the Riverlands stories as has been rumored.
P.S. As for Quentin in Meereen, there's actually a pretty convincing theory that he didn't fail at all.
Apparently Hodor won't be showing up next season but Bran's actor wrote somewhere that he's filming. Sounds like Bran might do some animal-dreaming, but probably not much more than that. The show is very reluctant to have characters disappear for entire seasons as seen in Theon's case.
