Almost no one on GoT is as attractive or repellent as they are in the books, per my imagination, anyway. Lena Heady is undeniably attractive, but not to the extreme degree with which Cersei's beauty is portrayed, which is generally sufficient to catch the attention of men who despise or fear her.
