It was a highly unrealistic story line, maudlin and sentimental in a series that has no place for that crap, and it ruined Tyrion's character.
Oh, and I so hated Zombie Cat because it removed the sense that someone dead was shockingly and suddenly gone from the show, that no one was safe. It became, "no one's safe, unless they come back as a zombie".
