Aw man, I don't even have kids but Stannis burning his was hard to stomach. Not sure why they went there. To remind everyone that there are no good guys at all, now that he'll be facing the Boltons?

I wonder if the episode will actually end with (1), because after the major shocker they always ended the seasons on a hopeful note. Having the show fade to black for a year right after the stabbing would be a new level of sadism, so they probably will
(2) Probably only landing somewhere in the middle of nowhere, maybe with riders approaching.
(3) I have no idea what's gonna happen here. The letter about Stannis' defeat in the books was not by a reliable narrator, so who knows?
(4) I actually hope he stays the major jerk for another season, especially considering how many characters will already die in the finale. Jon? Someone on Dorne? Meryn Trant for certain. I have a suspicion about King's Landing, too. It'll be a pretty packed finale.
View original postThe great part about the TV series is that I know that I only have to wait one week to find out about Episode 10, and the next season will come in exactly one year, so I don't have to wonder if five years from now I'll still remember who's who when Martin actually gets another book out.
