If he's really part Targaryen, what will probably happen when they burn him (because they burn everyone now to keep them from getting back up as walkers) is it will heal him and he will stand up, alive and naked. I'm guessing that even some of the people who stabbed him will probably think twice about their betrayal.

Considering that virtually no POV characters die, I think Jon is too critical for the series to just kill off, even if the TV series has a different ending than the books.
