I think that has a ot to do with target audience and who supports these people. random thoughts Send a noteboard - 01/02/2016 02:39:48 PM

Millennials are the target audience for both the outsider politicians and the Marvel movies. A steady diet of anti-establishment entertainment has given us a generation that is anti-authority and who is more likely to trust some guy on the internet more than establishment. Their appetite for anti-establishment has been fed by the establishments short minded goal of catering to their desire to get their attention. The more anti-establishment they became the more anti-establishment rhetoric they were offered. It is hardly surprising that most pampered generation in history had their naïve ideals catered to instead of challenged and as result they became reinforced.

Now we have nothing but big budget crap movies that they cannot get enough of and everyone else hate and fringe candidates climbing in the polls even though neither should ever seriously be considered for the job. It is also why movie attendance is dropping and the two front runners are the most widely disliked candidates since Gallop staring polling for that. The sad thing is they think they are doing something radical when they are really just following like sheep down the path they were led. The educated young white voters want Saunders and the less educated white voters want Trump and of course a large number of the white voters with vaginas support Hillary. Hardly free thinking.

The question is what is wrong with these people and the answer is society failed them by giving them everything they wanted.

If Trump supporters are crazy, what does that say about the movie-going public? - 31/01/2016 09:07:31 PM 574 Views

I am not sure less respect for authority always aligns with independent thinking. - 01/02/2016 08:35:36 PM 507 Views
