Everything he does has consequences but he does it anyways. He is not immune from pain and suffer just from being able to die to make it stop. I haven't seen the movie yet and will probably wait for to come out on video but Wolverine is a bad ass. Superman on the other hand is god whose archenemy is just some dude who is a lot smarter than him.
