Was it me, or did some of the bad language seem.....forced?
Here and there, it fit the dialogue of the scene, but other times it seemed like it was just there for the sake of fulfilling that R rating quotient.
I wonder if that's because Logan & Xavier have entirely been seen in children's picture books, cartoons and a bunch of PG-13 movies. Cursing is probably completely alien to the characters.

What I also thought was out of place was the 3 second titty shot. Again...seemed forced.
I find that's generally the case with that sort of thing.
What pumped it up to the actual R rating, was the sheer brutality of people getting clawed to death.

Which was mainly what I was thinking off. One issue with your terminology, however, is the "clawed" thing. Those guys were flat out stabbed. A knife is a knife. Holding it between your knucklebones & under your skin does not make it a claw.
