Pre current season, anyway. It had exactly my kind of off the wall, never-see-it-coming humor, and I loved it. Scrubs also had some great, memorable characters (Janitor is one of my favorite characters of all time, and I'm pretty sure I'm in love with Elliot ), and a brief but well done emotional punch at the end of most shows. Some of it was cheesy, but it worked for me.

As to the current season. . ./sigh. Sad times. The show has finally caught on to what kind of stuff people found so amusing, and are beating it to death. It's not out of the blue anymore. It feels forced, and contrived. Worse, JD is now just, well, depressing. His character has always been great because of his self deprecating, amusing sort of narcissism. He's always been a terrible, messed up person, but more or less on accident. Nowadays he just seems snarky and mean. Half of that is because he's not the new kid on the block anymore, which is another problem. He's not the carefree, ridiculous pushover that he was. It was fun to watch him develop, but now that he's just your average cynical doctor, he's not fun to watch.

Anyway, Scrubs was wonderful. No longer is, but it was nothing short of glorious.
