I was hoping the dude who saw himself as black was receiving the wrong person's flashforward. Thus opening the floodgates of people even being sure they saw their own flashforwards. Alas, that revelation was not meant to be in this episode.
I wanted it to be that if any one person was in an extreme emotional state in their lives, they could have subconsciously altered their visions (Afghanistan dad). That would have repercussions for several characters, including suicide kid.
One thing I noticed is the huge amount of planes and helicopters that hit buildings, just in LA. Exactly how many aircraft were in landing or takeoff patterns. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure most planes in route can coast for 137 seconds.
If they are that near the city, they are likely either just taking off or preparing for landing. I'd imagine it might be difficult to pull back in time if you wake up and your plane is headed straight for a building.
