I agree. So this would mean that saving Charlie would have no real consequences since Sylar loses her ability anyways. After Hiro rescues Charlie (hopefully just by removing her from the diner at the appointed time), Sylar would just move on to his next victim. Killing Charlie the first time around had no real impact on the world or the main characters except Hiro, whose only real interaction with Sylar was in the Season 1 finale. This is what I think anyways.
