It's crap. I suspect the positive buzz is something akin to that of "The King's Cameleopard" in Huckleberry Finn - no one wants to admit getting taken in, or freaking out over things that were just not that scary.
Nah. I thought it was quite creepy.
The problem, I think, is that different people are scared by different things - and this movie has apparently been so hyped that everyone is expecting to be terrified, when it's only gonna scare the one category of folks. Luckily I somehow managed to skip all of the hype leading up, and it hit the right notes for me.
