Nicolas - Is he able to design in any color other than white? How in the HELL did he get auf'd in when Christopher-McCries every five minutes was in? Granted, the outfit wasn't Greece-like, but overall, Nicolas has been sending out more quality than Christopher.
The top had possibilities, but I wouldn't want to wear that in hot weather and the sleeves...I don't know, but they didn't work to me. The pants reminded me of when someone insists on pulling their pants higher than they should be so they pull at the crotch. She just looked like the pants were uncomfortable. I also thought that the shirt and pants looked horrible together. All around, not a good garment.
Christopher's continued presence is an abnormal hairy growth on the body that is Project Runway. Excise it, already!

Irina - perhaps a bit bitchy about everyone joking around instead of working. But really, that works in your favor, Irina, so you should be encouraging them instead of tying an antler to your model's head and grumbling down at Whoville. Your jedi-robe of an outfit one, however.
Loved her outfit. It was beautifully tailored. Love the colors. Loved the layers. Loved the cutout in the back. Loved it all. Truly a step above all the other designers. She is a total bitch, but she has the balls to back up her bitchery.
I agree. When she was describing what she was going to do, the cowl neck to the sweater, AND a hood on the fur vest? I was like, oh god, that's gonna suck. But it ended up being amazing. And it was a lot of brown, but it was different shades and textures and I loved the pants! The cut-out on the sweater startled me, but in a good way.
And she isn't so much bitchy as she seems to be the only one who seems to remember that this isn't a workshop where there is nothing at steak. This is a competition with so much riding on it. If she wins and is smart about it, this could make her career. She isn't a bitch because she thinks her future is more important in the long run than joking around and running around the work room like an idiot. She takes this seriously. When they aren't working, she is fine as far as I've seen. There have been much bigger bitches in the history of the show than her.
Christopher - you're one crooked hem away from being eliminated and you think that the belt will save you? I really don't know how you're still in.
I think he is fucking one of the producers. I have no other explanation.
I think he should be cut and go to design school. If this is what he really wants to do then he really should put in the effort. Its like he thinks he deserves it more because he hasn't gotten a degree like the others, but in my mind, that just makes me think that deserves it the least. Send him home!
And the belt was nice, but the rest of the outfit was horrible! My first thought, before he hacked off the skirt, I was reminded of season 3, when they went to Paris. Vincent's gown. It made me shudder then, and this made me shudder as well. And the colors were so dull, and that belt hid a multitude of sins! If the judges had seen the construction under the belt he would have been gone in a second.
Carol Hannah - I think Epperson and Qristal had the same fabric in the beach challenge, but Carol Hannah made it work. The braiding was nice and I'm glad she's still in.
Uli did it better. Uli did it a lot better. I don't care what the judges say. That fabric was hideous. Maria von Trapp curtain fabric. And the design? Was it for Mrs. Roper?
The braiding was nice, but I agree. My first thought when I saw the fabric, then the way she was draping, then the knotting and braiding. It was Uli, all the way. I can't believe the judges didn't comment on the fact that they have seen this look before, and like you said, seen it done better. I was disappointed.
Gordana - It really hurts Heidi to compliment Gordana. I liked the dress and the grey worked well, although I wasn't pleased with some of the puckering.
I despise Heidi this season. I want Heidi to fall off the stage and break something and be gone.
The grey was fabulous, and I loved that she was able to come back at Heidi when she said, well its not really a necklace since its part of the dress with the fact that it is actually separate and can be worn with anything. It seems like it pains Heidi to say anything nice to Gordana, I agree. I still haven't heard her say anything nice to her without a "but..." What is her deal? Is it hormones? But she doesn't seem all that nice to anyone this season.
It seems like the challenges are getting a bit better.
Yes slightly better. Still the worst season of Project Runway ever. Barely better than The Fashion Show. Barely.
I couldn't get into The Fashion Show.
