Unlike a lot of people who claim a thing in their flash forward, we don't actually see hers. She could be lying. Really we should have seen some bluffing about flash forwards for the purpose of manipulation before now. We were past due.
Good question. I can see that some people would do that but I can also see that I wouldn't expect it until someone pointed it out to me. I'm much to honest and expect others to be, especially about that kind of stuff.

It should also be noted that the flash forward of the woman who calls Dimitri with his death date isn't shown either. So that could be the first lie, depending on whether she's making it up or not.
Hmm...I hadn't thought of that but...To what purpose would a German(?) woman call Dimitri and tell him she'd seen his murder?
Did the president call for the attackers and ordered them to look Asian because China was one of the suspects for the blackout in the senate hearing anyway?
I think that's what the writers were trying to lead us to suspect. Hard to say if it's so or not.
