Me and my wife went to go see it without the my daughter. My wife is thinking about going taking her to see it once it goes to the dollar theater. It is hard to tell with her what she will consider scary and what she will find boring so we wanted to go see it without her first. She may find some of the parts before Max goes to the island scary but she should be fine with the monsters.
