Have you read the books?
Have you seen both movies?
How did the two movies compare?
What was your opinion of the books?

In my opinion Angels and Demons was the far better book than the Da Vinci code.
I thought the Da Vinci movie was pretty good considering the amount of material in the book that could have been used.

I only read The Da Vinci Code, but I saw both movies. I thought the book Da Vinci Code was a good thriller and page turner, but pretty thin when it came to characters, though the same can be said for most thriller novels. The movie Da Vinci Code I didn't like quite as much as the book. I thought Tom Hanks and Ian McKellan couldn't get past the fact that their characters where really thin. But I felt the film did alright with the presenting the book's themes, though it allowed that to take the focus away from the mystery/thriller aspect.

Angels and Demons I didn't read the book but I liked the movie a lot more than Da Vinci. This is probably because I hadn't read the book, or at least I think so. Because I hadn't I had no clue who did what, I didn't know what would happen next, so that allowed me to get into it more. I thought Tom Hanks did a much better job with this one. It felt more like thriller and didn't allow it's themes to over-ride that. Though the climax was over the top, the resolution of the plot I liked in the end. Overall I liked Angels and Demons more than The Da Vinci Code. It had more of an Indiana Jones feel to it, and worked much better.
