I finally managed to see this British gem of black humor and politically incorrect jokes last night and since the film may be relatively little known outside of Great Britain, here's a recommendation.
I bought it about a month or so ago. It wasn't as funny as I had hoped, but it was very funny.
The cast is excellent (Matthew MacFadyen, that's Keira's Mr Darcy, Peter Dinklage, that's Tyrion in next year's Game of Thrones, Alan Tudyk, that's Firefly's Wash and Kris Marshall, the guy who went to the US to get laid in Love actually) and the film is directed by Frank "Yoda" Oz.
I know! There were so many brilliant people in it!
It tells the story of a funeral going wrong thanks to LSD pills, a grumpy wheel chair user, a hypochondriac and a blackmailing midget. To say more than that about the plot would already be spoiling too much. While starting out slowly and somewhat normal, the film soon develops a vortex of events that just get worse and worse (by which I mean funny) just to culminate in one of the most wonderfully awkward and hilarious scenes I've ever seen, when Peter Dinklage...no, I can't say it.
Go, rent, see, laugh your ass off. Especially when you always wanted to see Alan Tudyk climb around a house naked.

I agree, I think. It may be because I had just seen The Boat that Rocked when I saw this, but I had hoped for something even more brilliant. But it is a very funny film. Alan Tudyk is marvellous, as always. There is a bit too much angst and whining, I think, but there are really some laugh out loud moments. I enjoyed it.
