It seemed more like a DW episode where they forgot to call the Doctor so things ended badly. I didn't like the moral decisons they had Jack make. He was willing to take it all back when his lover was killed but hardly blinked when he sacraficed his grand child?

They killed off the interesting people and tainted what was left.
