Well, I really shouldn't growl, but there is an idea in there that is too similiar to something I am currently writing. That whole Enclosed Space idea. In the book series I am developing, Earth gets its ass punished for some horrible deeds done by one of its earlier exploration ships. The punishment? A massive "Dyson sphere" surrounding Earth space (still not sure how many star systems this is, either just Sol, or an area about 12 lights across).

But, then, I guess Peter F. Hamilton could get mad at me for mine as well.

This looks like fun and your version sounds like fun too
