I hate how people get up in the theaters as the first name of the end credits appear on the screen. It lacks serious respect for the filmmakers.
For me the reason is mostly to sit for 5 minutes and come back from the world the movie took me to, think about it, etc. At least in the cases of the best and most touching films. So yeah, TV ruins that too.
