This is what I don't like. No explanation. You bring in something like the Time War and don't explore it in detail. And it needed that explanation. It killed off a race that had apparently been around for a billion years and that was instrumental in so much. And plus, it's The Doctor's homework. I do like that it explains why The Doctor has been so against using physical violence due to what the Time Lords had become. Still . . .


I like that. The lack of explanation. That the Time War is only hinted at. No actual treatment of it can do what the cryptic allusions to the Nightmare Child does.
