I just can't take it anymore.

Several weeks ago, I set my DVR to record the late night syndication of voyager, in hopes that I would rediscover some gem of the series that I abandoned between the time that Species 8472 made it clear they wouldn't be coming around again and the big finale where Janeway killed all the borg singlehandedly.

My little experiment didn't work.

I watched an episode where B'Ellana entered a drag race to impress Tom Paris.

I watched an episode where Seven of Nine looks constipated for a solid 38 minutes while her borg stuff goes haywire.

I watched an episode where a damn HOLOGRAPHIC VILLAGE came to life.

I watched an episode where Kess comes back and is a crazy killer for a reason that is UTTERLY STUPID.

I watched an episode in which Harry is in love with a chick that we never met before and is now purple. she then turns un-purple, and is then, sadly, purple again.

And lastly, at the very point of my sanity, I watched an episode where the Doctor, at the peak of his moral courage, took on one of the greatest evils of our time: SOCIALIZED HEALTH CARE!!!!!!!!!

I give up. where did these writers get this crap from? There were a few gems - unimatrix zero and seeing Barclay in the mix were fun, but I see why I abandoned this show nearly ten years ago. Because it SUCKS.
