What's the difference? I watch them both and feel as though they're damn near the same thing. Why can't they make different stuff?


In Star Wars, there's the Force and Jedi and so on. Of course, all I've seen of Star Trek is the new movie.


Mostly in the form of visions, seers and so, if I remember correctly.
But yeah, that's one of the biggest differences, there is nothing "fantastic" in ST in the sense of fantasy or fairy tales.
