1) What kind of TV do you have? (brand, size, picture technology, etc)
TEAC HDMI LCD HD tv. I think it's about 30 or so inches
I'm not sure I've heard of that brand, is it an Aussie brand?

3) Do you plan a TV upgrade anytime soon?
No, only got this one last christmas.

Yes, it's my first HDTV. At the moment I'm absolutely loving it. My favourite thing is in Australia, one of the networks recently launched a 24-hour dedicated sports channel that you can only watch on digital televisions. And this year they are planning to show 5 or 6 games of NFL a week, so I can keep up to date with everyone else on this site

6) Aren't Blu-Ray disks ridiculously overpriced still?? I mean $30+ for a new movie when you can get the DVD for like 1/2 that?? What's up with that?
Apparently it's a better image. However, being a student and so on a modest budget, I'm happy to stick with regular DVD for the moment.
I feel you there. The price is the biggest thing holding me back from buying more Blu-Rays.

Yeah, until they stop making DVD players I doubt I'll upgrade.

7) Am I alone in thinking a lot of movies aren't worth the additional premium it costs to get the modest upgrade in picture?
