Lucas has managed to keep the heart beating on this franchise for over 20 years, and he's attracting an entirely new generation of kidlets, who need something new and exciting to keep their attention. They can get big screen HD movies at home, why would they go to the theater? Answer: To get a viewing experience they can't get at home.

If the movies came out in 3-D, i'd probably go and see.. even though I don't really like movies rendered in 3-D.
