Love him or hate him, Terry Gilliam is a pretty legendary name in film. After a couple of very heavy blows - the death of Heath Ledger during the filming, and having a ridiculous amount of difficulty finding a distributor - his latest, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, is finally going to be released. It certainly appears to be a spectacle not quite like any other...

And yes, you UK blighters get first crack at it - it's currently set for an Oct. 16th release in the United Kingdom, and a Christmas Day release in the United States.
