Rockne S. O'Bannon (the show's creator) has creative control of the comic book published by Boom Studios, and it's been amazingly true to the show so far. They're doing both a direct sequel to the TV series, and a set of D'Argo prequel minis.
I don't regularly read comic books, but I might eventually buy one if you think they're any good.
I do remember that a webseries on Scifi.com was once announced, but I have not been able to find it. Was it ever aired? Was it any good?
The webisodes have been pushed back multiple times, but are still being worked on, and are supposed to tie into the comics when they're eventually released.
