WTF?

I recently saw a TV trailer featuring Alice in armor, a large spindly dragon, and much that doesn't seem to arise from either story by Carroll.

So, I ask. WTF?

I suppose, knowing Disney is going to completely abandon any shred of faithfulness to the texts, my expectations for the movie have actually risen.

Any understanding of this?
