Claire is the new Rousseau and not exactly easy on the Others. I wondered if Jin knew that Kate took the baby off the island, and then he said so. Why in God's name would he take it back and tell Claire Aaron's at the temple?


I think he sensed Claire would be homicidal about Aaron (afterward she did confirm she would have killed Kate if she thought Jin was telling the truth), and he was trying to protect Kate and give Claire and more dispensable target.
