tennant just fit the role much better.

For who the Doctor was when they brought it back I think Eccleston was perfect. I couldn't see him doing the quirky funny Doctor that Tennant was so good at.

I liked them both a lot, I just enjoyed the first season more than any other season. The darker more serious Doctor was very interesting and made for some really good episodes.
